Since 2004 I have been a professional games programmer - working on AAA games and innovative titles. My specialities are in Gameplay, Online Systems and Tools. I’ve worked on various in-house engines and Unity3D, consoles, AR, VR, PC and mobile.
I have been a Technical Director since 2014. This involves management of the project, staff and having to work closely with production and budgets. I have to make key technical decisions which have a critical impact on the experience, team and business.
Gaming all my life, but only a gaming dad since 2019. Having to balance being a father, businessman, developer and still having time to do “value research” gaming is always fun in itself. However it’s given me a fresh perspective on UX and accessibility.
